iPhone Mount for your bed
I decided to make an adjustable wall mount for my iPhone. So I can use while laying in bed to watch videos hands free. Knowing I was having a full knee replacement soon and would be laid up for a while and I’d be icing it a lot. I made this before my surgery. The design of the adjustable arms was inspired by Jeremy Schmidt. He is a youtube content Maker. Which he use this for a camera holder in his work shop. I’m telling you I have been using this thing a lot. Not only for videos and movies, but podcasts and Audibles. Cause you can just hang it over your head without worrying about earphones. But if you want to use your iPhone headphone you can. I like to use my wireless headphone so I don’t disturb anyone. If you decide to make one there are a few things you can change. You can change the the part that mounts to the wall to a clamping device so you can clamp it to a head board. You can even change the iPhone holder so it can hold a tablet or even a kindle so you can read hands free… I’m sure you can even rig it up a way to run a charging cord so you can charge your device while watching.
As for making this wall mount, docking station you can get creative with the wood you use. I used Oak cause a had some scraps in the scrap bin. But use whatever you have lying around or even mix it up. You can also customize the size and length of your cell phone wall mount dock station to your liking. But the longer you make it the bigger your arms should be , I would think.
